Life has been a bit crazy recently, but now I’m ready to let you in on all of it! I’ll be posting my achievements and failures here for all to learn from and hopefully be inspired.

I’ve got a bit of excitement to share, though! On Saturday, I’ll be competing in a Toastmasters Tall Tale contest. I won the area competition and now I’ll go on to the Division contest. I’ll try to post some video here.

I’m also trying to finish a Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting in the next several months and as it turns out, if I don’t finish this time, I won’t finish ever because my school is changing their catalog and adding several classes. At that point, it will become financially impossible to finish. I’ll keep you posted to see how that is going.

100 Hours of Kindness has been on the back burner, but I’ve spoken at Ignite Denver a couple of times on related topics and am hoping to pitch it as a documentary so that I can kickstart it and expand the idea of kindness. It seems there is always a need for kindness in the world.

I’ve started a video production and editing program in Denver and that is putting a bit of a financial strain on my family as I’m not able to work very much, but I do work several hours on the weekends. So, I’m putting all of my eggs in one basket, so to speak, and hoping that I can get a job when this is all said and done.

Lastly, my wife and I are nearing the end of the time we said we would try for a second baby as we’re both a bit older, so I’ll keep you posted on that as well.

Life is very good and I’m hopeful for great things.
